The situation around Sant'Alessio Siculo
A wet week around Messina, with frequent precipitation. Over the last 14 days, Meteo Aeronautica Militare has the highest score for the Sant'Alessio Siculo area, but the runner-up is less than 3 points behind: the ranking can change from one day to the next. On rain alone, Apple Weather does better in the provincial capital's data; on temperatures, yet another service is the most accurate. Wind was the defining feature of the week, with strong gusts almost every day. Yesterday's report card reshuffled the order: the week's No. 2 finished No. 1. The top-ranked service is the same in nearby municipalities too (Forza d'Agrò, Gallodoro). In wet weeks like this one, rain forecasts matter most: they account for three quarters of the score.
